It's healthy to fast now and then, though unhealthy to not drink, so when I fast I drink some water- makes it easier. While bagels, lox, cream cheese and kugel are common afterwards, I advise lighter fare like salads, soups, steamed veggies, fruit and nuts, though 24 hours is a short enough fast that any healthy food is OK. ...Read more
