Information: Keloids always occur as a result of inflammation with some type of scab such as with pimples from any cause, or scratches, or surgical wounds. Pressure with or without silicone may help. Sometimes topical seroids can help in older children (late teens), injectable steroids may be of value. There are severl over the counter preparations which also help.
