Zinc pyrithione: Is a zinc complex that inhibits both fungal and bacterial growth. It is principally used as an ingredient in anti-dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis preparations. Folliculitis. Prescribed 1 week of vibramycin, also tried tea tree oil, t-gel, t-sal, pyrithione zinc, and Nizoral (ketoconazole) shampoos over a few months w/ no improvement. What other solutions are out there?
