I have to push really hard to pee. There's no pain and no other symptoms of a UTI. Could it be kidney stones?
Hard to say: Can't see your age, but concerning. May progress to complete inability to pee. Need to see doc. Until then avoid anything that could make this worse - cold medications, anti allergy meds, etc. Causes: if young, medications are prime suspects. If old then prostate enlargement esp if painless. If you have ever had any urologic procedures scarring is likely. ...Read more

Why do I push to pee and red goo come sout I just had sex 5 minuts ago, I went to go pee it hurt I had to push rlly hard and red goo came out slowly
Hello.: Hello. That is a good question. Asssuming by the way that this is written, that you did not have blood in urine, pain or burning with urination or difficulty with urinary stream prior to five minutes ago. Am also assuming that the red goo came out of your urethra (pee hole) and not out of your vagina or anus. If the sexual intercourse was vigorous or aggressive than it could have scratched / injured the urethra which could be in spasm or swelling as well as bleeding. If the urehtra is fairly swollen it could make it difficult for urine to pass through the lumen. ...Read more

Medication SFx?: Some medications may have the side effect of tightening up the urethra, making it difficult to void - amitriptylene and Cymbalta (duloxetine) are common ones for this complaint. If this has just been a recent development, then you might pee in a cup so your fp can see if this hesitancy is the beginning of a uti. It's a little strange that it's only happening in the morning, tho. ...Read more

Frequent urination, hard/sore nipples, swollen breasts, bloating, pain when pushing on uterus/above pelvic bone, acne, fatigue. Can I be pregnant?
Possibly, but..: These are also symptoms of just the normal monthly changes we as menstruating women experience around that time of the month as well. Could just be part of your "normal" cycle. If you had unprotected sex in the last month, it may not hurt to check a pregnancy test as well, but my guess is it's the normal hormonal changes most of us experience month to month. Could also consider UTI? ...Read more
Get evaluated.: A few things could cause this group of signs and symptoms. A urinary tract infection, or prostate infection in men, for example, can cause difficult urination. Pain could be caused by involvement of the kidney. This usually accompanied by fever & pain with urination. Urinary obstruction, with reflux of urine up to the right kidney is a possibility as well. See your physician for evaluation. ...Read more
Here are some...: Undoubtedly, your long-time difficulty to pee has been going on for months to years. The most likely underlying cause is mechanical / functional blockage along the urethra. At 34, consider poor relaxation of bladder neck or stricture anywhere distal to the prostate; either way, in time, bladder will weaken from its hard working like backup pressure at restricting the nozzle of garden hose. There: There is very little information here. Are you a man or a woman? Does it hurt on the right side of your back, the right side of your abdomen? If you are a man and it hurts on the right side, inside the penis, you may have an infection. If you are a woman and it hurts near the urethra where the urine leaves the body, you could have an infection or inflammation. If your back is hurting maybe you have an infection involving your kidney. If your abdomen hurts, maybe you have inflammation or infection from your bladder. There isn't enough information to provide a definitive response. I suggest you see your doctor to be evaluated for the source of your painful urination. ...Read more
I pushed too hard peeing and it burned and the next 3 times I peed it kinda burned it's fine now am I going to get a stricture??
One-time event?: Some things guys learn are that a penis is not really a fire hose, bad things happen after trying to hit a urinal from 8 feet away, and high pressure peeing irritates the lining of the urethra and leads to pain later. People do not get strictures from such one-time events, but repeated minor damage to the urethral cells might lead to scarring. In general, no worries but pee wisely. ...Read more
