Been told I have chronic uti biofilm infection. Urine under microscope shows pyuria as 6. Is this right?
The infection you describe often has a completely NEGATIVE or NORMAL urinalysis...and pyuria may or may not be present!

Sterile pyuria: Means presence of white cells in the urine in the absence of bacterial infection on culture. Contaminated urine: If the urine was collected using good cleaning prior to urination, then it is not normal. If a woman does not use a good clean catch technique then the urine can be contaminated from surrounding secretions.
