Folliculitis: It is possible you are suffering from "folliculitis", which is a bacterial infection or inflammation of the hair follicles. Regardless, you still may have an STD and be in need of antibiotics.

Hello.: Hello. I can't diagnose this based on how I visualize what you are describing. However, if this is in the vaginal area, it is recurrent and there is pustular discharge, recommend that this be evaluated by your doctor.

There may be an: ...association between the MRSA and the recurrent infection in the vaginal hairs (folliculitis). If you're being treated appropriately with the antibiotics for the MRSA, that might help clear up the folliculitis. Be aware tho that any bacteria still hiding in the follicles may cause a flair up. Talk with your doctor about that & that other hygiene measures to help prevent recurrences.

This: This sounds like a vaginal abscess (infection), they tend to recur. If the area in question does not drain on it's own or you get a high fever see your doctor. The area may need to be incised and drained. Good luck.

Found a tiny bump on inner vagina lip, no pus just a little blood what could it Be?

Tiny bump: Have you been sexually active recently? This could be from irritation from recent sexual activity. There are also other common causes such as a clogged gland. This should go away with time and you should not be concerned unless you have any risk for STD exposure. If it does not go away please consult with a family physician or and OBGyn

Have found a bump above Vagina near thigh. Popped like a zit and had pus and blood. Could it be herpes?

Less likely: It is not likely to be herpes most likely it is a gland cyst or a hair root that trying to get infected. Use a heat pad, avoid the temptation of squeezing it, clean with alcohol, and apply topical antibiotic. you are 20 years old, practice a safe sex, this way you will never worry about STD including herpes. And remember there is some STD you are going to carry with you the rest of your life.

Had a big bump above my clitoris not painful or itchy, during a warm bath it popped with pus and blood, what is it?

A cyst: This was likely a cyst. They can be common in the genital area. As long as there is no pain, or fever, you can feel safe that it has now gone away and no further action needed. If it comes back or becomes painful, you should see your local doctor

Have a bump in pubic hair area on left side at top, not near vagina. Looks like it's filled with pus and hurts a little?

Have a bump in pubic hair area on left side at top, not near vagina. Looks like it's filled with pus and hurts a little?

Infection: This could be an infection, either a folliculitis or early abscess. You can take pain medications (ibuprofen or acetaminophen) and place warm compresses (for 20-30 mins, several times a day) to the affected area in the meantime, but you should see a physician ASAP to be evaluated and treated, as you may need antibiotics. It's better not to wait to the point you may need incision & drainage.

Yes...: Associated other infection, super infection can give problem like that. Easy solution is to ask your partner...what he has...then get treated accordingly. Else culture and blood test needed.

I have a bump on the outside of my vagina that normally is filled with puss and I can pop. Tried to drain today and blood came out. What could this be?

Several things: It could be a sebaceous cyst, it could be a skene's gland abscess, and it could be a bartholins cyst or abscess. However, since it hasn't simply gone away, you really need to be seen by your doctor or a gynecologist.

I have a bump on my vagina filled with puss and blood. It resurfaces in the exact same spot every couple of months. Any ideas? Sometimes it hurt in the beginning when it resurfaces. It is on the outside where pubic hair grows.

This: This is concerning. Please be sure that you have had a doctor take cultures on it. You may have a cyst in that area or a gland that keeps getting infected. You could try always using anti-bacterial soap to prevent it, and if it starts getting infected again immediately place triple antibiotic cream on it (such as bacitracin), but please also have your gynecologist check it as it may need cultures if you have not already done so. If it becomes painful, swollen, red, or you have fever then you would need to be seen immediately.

What is painful bumps on your vagina filled with puss followed by blood once you pop them? What is this symptom called? I know its not a STD because I've been tested several times over the past 5 years of having this. I have been celibate for the past 10

You: You may be having a recurrent infection with boils. Boils usually start out as tender, red areas which become hard and then eventually develop a "head" of white pus. Once this drains, the area usually heals on its own. Most of these are caused by staphylococcus aureas, a common bacteria found on the skin. Occasionally, however, the can be caused by mrsa, the antibiotic resistent kind of staph bacteria. Next time you develop one of these infections, start out by applying warm compresses to the area to help draw the infection out. Then, you should see your doctor so that they can drain it, test for what bacteria is causing it and be able to treat you appropriately - sometimes with antibiotics, sometimes just with drainage. If you ever develop fever, chills, or feel ill with this infection, call your doctor immediately. Don't be embarrassed about seeing your doctor - we see this kind of thing all the time and we're here to help, not judge. You can try and prevent these infections by practicing good hygiene and using anti-bacterial soaps. Your doctor may have other suggestions for prevention. Good luck!

I have a small hard lump on my vagina, slightly above my clitoris. It hurts but a warm compress so I can extract a small bit of pus. What do I do?

Warm compress: A warm compress is a good home remedy, or you could sit in a bathtub of warm water (add a little epson salt or sea salt to the water). If a little pus is coming out on it's own, then you could encourage the rest to come out with a little firm pressure, avoid squeezing the lump hard - if it is ready to drain it will not require a lot of pressure. If it's getting bigger or increased redness see MD

I have 2 bumps above clitoris hood like where the line of the vagina starts, no head just kind of red, I think shaving caused it?

Whoops! Another cut: This is a very sensitive area for a razor and small cuts can cause infection from the in grown hairs + bacteria. How about a hair removal cream or electric or battery operated feminine razor.
