10y old gymnast. On her left hand, the three knuckles and the area under them are purple. There is a tender spot. Is it fracture or stress fracture?

Need X-Ray Vision: Could be either or something else. To be sure, the hand should be examined in-person and a decision made as to what to do , especially at this age. Would be important to know the exact circumstances of the injury, if any, or if it was from repetitive activities. I have these small brown spots to be specific only two on my wrist and it doesn't hurt or anything and I just recently got it?

Unsure/unseen: The 2 spots need more explanation and very difficult to say without seeing them. If not painful, no bleeding or other injury to the area it could be a normal little skin change but most important is to watch them closely and if remain and get bigger or sore then see a health professional to evaluate the area. Hope this is helpful and all goes well. ...Read more

Impossible to tell: For sure without actual examination. But if is sudden onset and localized to a 3 inch area, it is most likely something that happened to your skin locally.
