Purple Spots On My Right Hip
I have a cluster of small purple spots on my right hip. I noticed them this morning, they weren't there last evening. They don't hurt and aren't raised.
Without seeing them: It sounds like purpura or broken capillaries or blood pooling under the skin. As long as it completely goes away in the next 2-4 weeks, sounds like nothing to worry about. But if it gets worse or persists, make an appointment to see a dermatologist
This week I've noticed purple tiny spots on my right hip they disappeared &today I found a new spot on the same hip too. They don't hurt and temporary?
Petechiae?: These spots could simply be related to squeezing or direct pressure on a small part of your skin. However, petechia can be associated with a clotting problem that may be serious and/or related to a bigger problem with your immune system...
I have red spots on both my hips it started on my right hip and is now on my left hip they are flat red spots. Only itchy after taking a hot shower?
Contusion?: You don't mention your age or other health conditions, so the most common cause of purplish spots would be that you bumped into something, possibly while you were too busy to notice. Other possible causes include having a low platelet count, other blood dyscrasias, liver or kidney disease, resolving rashes sometimes leave purplish marks, and very thin skin (typically in the elderly).
I have dull, migrating pain starting at my right hip going all the way down to my right foot. It comes and goes all day in different spots. What could cause this? Also can't extend leg w/out sharp pai
I have had a numb spot about the size of a golf ball on my right hip for a while now. I don't seem to have any other symptoms but I am concerned?
Meralgia paresthetic: You may have a condition called meralgia paresthetica which is an abnormal sensation caused by a trapped nerve. Factors include weight gain, tight-fitting clothing, or a recent injury to the hip. You would need to see a clinician to sort it out, since imaging and other testing may be required to make a diagnosis and recommend treatment. Hope that helps.See 1 more doctor answer

Purple lump on hip. Lump is under skin. Sore to touch. Hurts a lot when wearing belt. There was always a purpke spot there for a few years. Worried?
Get a medical exam: If you have any new growth, you need to ahvea physical exam by your doctor. If there is a lump/growth or tumor an x-ray can be used to confirm it. A biopsy may be required if there is a definite lump as that is the only way to make a diagnosis of the cause of any new lump.
Pain on upper outer side of right hip just under/along iliac bone. Avid runner, hurts when press on spot and stretch it and when sit for a long period?
It may have been a: Bruise that has been metabolized and calcium/ iron deposits left behind into a small knot. Or it could be a lymph node that enlarges when there is something inflammatory in the area such as infection or trauma. If it continues to bother you, go have a healthcare provider look at it. For someone who runs, any lingering pain that worsens or will not go away should be a concern for long term injury
I've got a very mild pain near my right hip bone, only when I press on a specific spot. Moving doesn't hurt, and I have no fever or digestive issues.
Bursitis: There are many potential causes, but one of the more common is a bursitis. There is a tendon known as the ITB that can run over the greater trochanter of the hip and cause inflammation of the underlying bursa. Therapy to stretch the tendon can potentially help as can a cortisone shot given in the spot. Don't hesitate to be seen for an accurate diagnosis.
Mom has right lung cancer it's the slow cancer she also has a spot on her lower spine right hip and a rib on the right side. Plz life exp
Your question has: Conflicting info. Lung ca, 'slow kind', is broncheoalveolar, a non-invasive surface spreading tumor. If it invades, it's not slow; if it goes to bones, for sure it's not slow. Prognosis requires clarification of provided info, multifocal bone scan + carries a poor prognosis.See 1 more doctor answer
I have small, purple spots on my right breast. It's a small cluster of about 8 or 12 of them. Ranging in light to darker shades of purple. Almost brui?
Always: Any new lumps, bumps, skin changes in the breast should be evaluated by your doctor. Great job doing your breast exam and finding it. Most breast masses are benign but it is very important to have it evaluated. If the area is easily visible consider an Healthtap inbox consult to one of our breast specialists, primary care docs or Obgyns.
Hello, I just noticed today that I have 4-8 circular purple spots on my right ear, but it doesn't hurt & no pain. Should I go to the doctor?
? probably: If the spots go away within the week, then no worries, It could have been a dermal allergic reaction. If they persist however, or grow rapidly, you need to see a dermatologist. It is probably benign, but you don't want a melanomatous process to get started.
My son (6mos) 's left leg turns purple when crying loudly, after he stops it will be normal again but spots will left on his leg, should I worried?
Leg turns purple: He should be examined by a doctor for that. They may consider cardiology/ vascular work up
Ouch-it really hurts: External hemorrhoids are basically varicose-vein, and when thombosed (clotted) it sure can cause much pain in the _ _ _. This is easy excised in the office, if you r doc does it, which can relief your pain quickly. If not, topical steroid mixed with Lidocaine such as anapram can help quite a bit. Increase fibers and fluid, avoid straining, and minimize prolonged sitting. Consult doc. Good luck.
Normal: With the lack of a clinical exam, I would like to call those spots the terminal end of blood vessels. However if they are new spots that you have never seen before, then you may need to have them checked by a dentist. Some common allergies may be expressed by splotches.See 1 more doctor answer
