I woke up with 2 areas of petechiae on my leg. No injury or med use. It's definitely petechiae..One of them turning purple other still red. Concern?
No cause for anxiety: One or two petechiae does not mean anything serious. I would ask you to watch for any more of them appearing. If there are many more like 10 or more then you may have a cause for some concern in which case you should go see your primary care doctor and request a CBC and platelet count done.
