I got this bruise a few days ago and its on my eyelid its purple now it was black can I speed this healing up?

Veins?: Sometimes this can be a prominent vein in your thin lower lid skin or it can come from mild fat herniation thru the orbital septum of the lower lid.This commonly occurs with age but not always. Sometimes: Depends upon the history. Did he get struck around the eye with a fist, a ball or some blunt object so that he has bruising around the eye? Is there swelling? Was the eye struck and is the vision ok? Or did the purple appear with no outside force which could indicate a blood disorder, or tumor? The top of my eyelids have been noticeably yellow the last few days kind of like a late bruise but I just noticed it! Is it something to worry about?
Not likely: If that is the only part of your skin that is yellowed, I would wonder if you had a bruise on your scalp/forehead area in the last 2 weeks that has allowed some late discoloration to reach your eyelids. Are you using eye shadow that is a new product for you that may leave a discoloration after removal? If the whites of your eyes of other areas become yellow, see a doctor about liver problems. ...Read more
