Yes: You could absolutely have a fracture, though the swelling can definitely occur without fracture as well. The only way to find out is to have x-rays of your hand. If you are having any difficulty moving your hand, wrist or fingers, or if you have any numbness/tingling etc., you should get an x-ray done. And, stop punching walls. You lose that fight every time. ...Read more

Please consider your ability to control yourself, and seek counseling if indicated. As for the hand, an X-ray to make sure there's no fracture would not be a bad idea.
