Can stress cause temple arteries to bulge and pulsate ? Mine don't hurt when i touch them but i sometimes get very slight headaches. Im anxious too.
Anger, maybe: In some people, temporal arteries may bulge when they're angry. I can feel a bulging vein or artery on my temples and when i feel them they pulsate. Not that visible unless i stretch my skin. Slight headaches.

Don't touch it: Rest. Drink plenty of fluids. Avoid vigorous exercise. Try to avoid touching your temple. Take Tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen if needed for pain. Migraine : New onset throbbing headache with no hx of headaches in the past is concerning. Typically migraines have throbbing headche with nausea, vomiting, light and noise sensitivity and typically has someone in the family with migraine headache.
