Stress?: Stress is a very common factor. Have you tried any meds like ibuprofen?
These will may times help. If you are having fever with this you need to seek medical care immediately. If you are experiencing any neuro deficit or unusual symptoms then you need to see someone as well. Have you started any new meds such as BCP?

Unlikely you have structural problems in brain or eye, but, if appropriate, your doctor might order MRI or cat. The Best outcome if you start preventative approach, with topirimate, depakote, even beta blocker, but also, otc preps like riboflavin, co-q-10, butterbur. A triptan could abort the headache.
