Interesting: I only say that as there really aren't normally any large vascular structures in the outer side around the knee. While you could be abnormal and have a vascular structure there, it's more likely a sensation from either muscle spasms or irregular sensory nerve impulses. Hard to say: It is good to know your MRI looks fine as that would show the major ligaments in the knee and whether or not there is a problem there.
