R/O biceps: If u were lifting something rather heavy and felt pull or 'pop' and pain and bruising is felt in lower arm or front of elbow( antecubital fossa) then a biceps strain or rupture should be ruled out.@ age 54 this can happen and generally needs to be re-attached or u will lose elbow flexion strength and much supinating( palming up) power.
