Been n pain for 12mnths w/pubis shearing & low back pain. Pubis shearing has been corrected almost 2wks but my leg muscles still hurt. Recovery time?
Stretch/Strengthen: If stretching and strengthening the muscles in the area do not resolve the pain, you could consider a cortisone injection to reduce the inflammation. Newer techniques with stem cell therapies have shown great success in resolving chronic tears in those muscles/ligaments as well. Check out Regenexx.Com ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Transient pain between pubis and naval for six weeks, sometimes pain on palpating, sometimes no. Started waking from sleep last 3 days. Doc appt 6 nov?
Fell down steps caused pubis shearing also in pain since 5/2012 thighs, low back, hips & pubic bone omt helped a lot but still achey will i heal 100%?
Possibly not: Mechanical falls onto low back & buttocks can cause pelvic sacroiliac joint (sij) ligament tears, which can be permanent. Ligaments have relatively low blood flow & heal poorly. A trial of two or more months of rest in order. Medical literature reports between 10-30% persons with chronic (over 2-3 months) of low back pain have pain generation from injured sij. See an osteopath; are ways to help. ...Read more
A smooth smller than a pea bump
where? left mon pubis
i prick with pin, blood and whitish wax substance seen
is it herp or mulluscum
Probably neither: A little bump in the skin, close to the surface, that contains a "whitish wax substance" probably is a trapped collection of skin oils and dead skin cells, that could not make it to the surface (did not have an open skin pore or follicle to get out). Neither herpes skin lesions, nor molluscum bumps, contain a "whitish wax" material. ...Read more
What would cause a sudden sharp pain in pubis/ ischial tuberosity region when walking or moving legs? No trauma and not over weight.
Is it true that someone can have pubis shearing for years and have no pain? Is it possible they never knew they had it?
Pubis shearing: My impression was that pubis shearing or symphysis pubis dysfunction caused some type of pain. It's been reported that some people may have clicking or popping sounds, but calling it a "dysfunction" implies there's a manifestation of symptoms that affect the person in some way. Maybe a do could weigh in because pubis shearing is an osteopathic term. ...Read more
SIJ belt: The pelvic girdle has three joints & the symphysis pubis (sp) is smallest. The sacroiliac joints (sij) are each 17 cm squared. When sij is hypermobile from injury or joint hypermobility syndrome (jhs) the small sp is torqued & ligaments of joint are stretched & hurt. Stabilization of pelvic girdle can be obtained by wearing a sij belt (boa.Com). See my chronic pain board at quora.Com (free). ...Read more
