No: Hair pigment changes as we age. No rhyme or reason to it.
After: Several times it will get less sensitive. But you will always have some amount of irritation
I'm 35 years old, why my pubic hair starts to turn white whereas any of my other body and head hair is not? Thank you
Genetics & luck: We don't have much, if any, control over genetics & luck when it comes to hair color, distribution & loss. Yes, we can color/bleach our hair. We can shave, tweeze, pluck, wax, laser etc. We can try combs, medications & surgery to make it grow elsewhere. But there's no explaining why/when hair turns white/grey. Can't even blame it on our children!
I shaved my pubic hair for the first time today with a razor. I can find small hairs under my skin. What should I do?
Agree and....: Have seen numerous infections in people shaving pubic area, some of which have required surgery. Consider using a clipper rather than a razor, to avoid having small cuts which can allow bacterial overgrowth to develop. Use antibacterial soap in area, make sure everything is clean!See 2 more doctor answers
Hair color: Pubic hair and axillary (armpit) hair can vary in color considerably from the hair of the scalp. In most people it is darker, although it can also be lighter. In most cases it is most similar in color to the eyebrows of the individual. On some individuals, pubic hair is thick and/or coarse; on others it may be sparse and/or fine; these varieties may appear in either sex.
For how long?: Waiting is the simple answer. Some times an over the counter burn cream might help. Patience is also reported olive oil and coconut oil as being soothing to the skin. You may want to rethink having this procedure done again if you were that sore.
Hair removal: I've never heard of such effect of wax on the skin in the process of hair removal.
I have white dry flacky skin by on my pubic hair area what would that b and how doin get rid of it?
Dry skin in groin: Ringworm is a fungal infection on the skin and may infect different areas of the body. If the fungi infect the area around the groin, referred to as jock itch or tinea cruris, an individual may experience symptoms such as red, scaly patches of skin. Treatment can be with Lamisil (terbinafine) cream.
Hi im a 32 yr old male. I'm suffering from itchy flaky skin around my pubic hair area. What could it be?
Shaved my pubic hair (female) and now I have dry flaky skin that just won't go away. What do I do? It is not itchy.
Use moisturizers: And defer shaving for a while. Avoid scented products. Vaseline, Lubriderm, Cetaphil, Jergens, Organic Coconut Oil, ------- any of theses should work.
In my pubic hair area my skin is really dry and itchy and I do clean shave it and the skin is always dry and even when my hair grows back?
Skin irritation: Your skin is definitely irritated. That could be from shaving (an otc cortisone cream twice a day should do the trick), some eczema that you have developed in the area (again try the cortisone cream) or it could be a fungus (for that, try Lamisil (terbinafine) cream twice a day for a week or two). If that doesn't work, you should see your dermatologist.
Pls help me. Few months ago I cut my skin with a razor while shaving my pubic hair now that area become look like a cyst. Do I need to get worried? Tq
Pubic cyst: There are multiple possibilities including infection vs pilonidal cyst. if it is painfull and redness around it see a physician for antibiotics and may be drainage. If this is near the genital area it could be related to sexually transmitted disease also. Keep the area clean meanwhile and avoid scratching the area
I have wihte flakes on my pubic hair is it sry skin or crabs? I have white flakes on my pubic hair it don't itch but my body itches is it just really dry skin?
Human: Human pubic lice or "crabs" are typically very small but can be seen attached to the pubic hair and may have a characteristic bluish-gray color around the area. They skin can become a bit red and itchy and may develop some white flakes. They are spread from sexual contact. I would see a dermatologist so that they can differentiate between crabs and other common conditions that can occur in that area such as eczema, psoriasis, etc.
No Effect on pubis: Estrogens stimulates prolactin from pituitary gland, and Estrogens protects the hair against male hormones
My skin where my hairs grown is extremely dry kind of look like dandruff but my pubic hair is falling out an it itches?
When I masturbate, my skin rubs on my pubic hair and causes a red painful area over time. Is there anything I can do to keep my skin from irritation?
Friction Burn: 2 things that could help. One, you could use lotion or lubricant to reduce friction when sliding back and forth over the area. You might also, if agreeable to you try to trim the hair in the area (shorter hair will not pull as much) or even try shaving that one little area or the hair so it isn't caught. You could stop masturbating but there's no fun in that solution!
