Probably normal: It certainly could be. Her menstrual cycle can be very irregular for the first 2 years. Unless you are concerned about sexual abuse, trauma or infection, I wouldn't be worried. Have he examined by her physician if you do have those concerns. ...Read more

See your doctor: See your ob-gyn or doctor for eval. Some hair around the nipple can be normal and if you have regular periods that means your hormone levels must be in the normal range and working okay. Can't know for sure: Menarche usually occurs at tanner stage 3 for pubic hair, and after a big growth spurt. I generally tell folks to expect it about a year before their mom (for you, age 14.). ...Read more

If she is overweight, that needs to be controlled because early pubic hair is often seen in overweight kids who may then develop early puberty.
