You are still growing and so is voice box, larynx. Do not push things and wait for your growth to be complete before deciding on a course of action.

If you strain your : vocal cords, as in yelling at a ball game, they can become a little swollen & red, causing some hoarseness. If you yell chronically, you can get " screamers' nodules." Maybe not much if 18: A person's voice changes through the teen age years, as the voice box changes. There are also changes in the other bodily parts that have an effect on voice.
