I had my tonsils out 1 year ago, I am 22. I noticed a mass in the pocket where my tonsil used to be?
Be seen...: "A mass" isn't descriptive enough to hazard a guess as to what you are noticing. This type of thing needs to be seen by a physician. Tonsillar tissue can grow back, but an exam is required to see if that is what you are noticing. ...Read more

What should I do about a tonsil stone stuck in a mis-formed crater/pocket in left tonsil? I cannot get it out by ANY means and are getting worried.
Tonsil stones: Greetings, the tonsil stone is a product of food particles that get smushed from the tongue - tonsil interaction during a swallow. Studies have shown that tonsillectomy in singers is safe and effective, especially when done by an ENT surgeon familiar with the singing patient. I would recommend obtaining a referral to an ENT that your vocal coach knows. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Leaving for vacation tmrw, have white puss pockets on both tonsils, painless past few days. Started z pack tonight, should it clear up?
Very likely: It seems like you have tonsillitis which are most commonly caused by viruses and bacteria. Azithromycin (z-pack) is a pretty good antibiotic for bacteria such as strep. If it does not improve, then I would suggest getting tested for mono. ...Read more
