Don't think so: Buspar (buspirone) can be good for generalized anxiety but in general it is not the best treatment for such severe , acute anxiety, with panic attacks and what sounds like obsessional worries. Buspar (buspirone) can be used to augment the action of an ssri to treat such severe anxiety, panic attacks, depression, and ocd, and used that way, can be very helpful. ...Read more
