Is it safe to take claritin-d every day? Are there long term side effects and what does pseudoephedrine interact with, if anything?

Allergies: In general, it it safe to take antihistamines everyday for allergies. Claritin-d includes the decongestant as you mentioned, and i tend to avoid that for people on a long term basis. Hello! i%b4m pregnant week 23. Can I use pseudoephedrine (60mg twice a day), when I have a hard flu.

Avoid oral agents: At 23 weeks you're outside the teratogenic risk with this medication and are unlikely to do harm however these medications are never the first line for nasal and sinus symptoms during pregnancy . I would instead consider the use of saline nasal sprays and neti pots. ...Read more

How effective is pseudoephedrine in fixing ear pressure blockage during flights?

How effective is pseudoephedrine in fixing ear pressure blockage during flights?

It may work: It may work.. It just takes a while and you may not need it:try performing a valsalva maneuver - pinch your nose and gently "blow" air out of your nose while at the same time bearing down like you are lifting something. No: 3.5 ounces of robitussin is an excessive dose in and of itself (usual dose is 15-30 ml, which is 1/2-1 oz). Combining this with 2 vicodin increases the chance of toxic effects.
