TSH 3 & PCOS. Took metformin for 2 yrs then stopped. Now on Synthroid (thyroxine) 50mcg & Prozac 20mg. Still tired, fatigue. Any supplementation?
With normal TSH fatigue is nonspecific.: Although the TSH level is in the upper mid range of normal, your dose could be slightly adjusted upward to for example 75 µg daily. Your fatigue could be secondary to underlying depression for which you are taking medication for. Metformin is commonly used in PCOS for normalizing periods and ovulation. Have your vitamin D levels checked. ...Read more

I am on Prozac (fluoxetine) 20 mg for anxiety disorder. Since a while I am feeling fatigue etc but mood ok. Does this mean my dose of Prozac (fluoxetine) needs adjustment?
I have been fatigued for 2 months dr reduced Paxil (paroxetine) dose from 60mg to 40mg with one 20mg fluoxitene for 1 month anxiety and low moods stopped Prozac 20mg and went back to 60mg Paxil (paroxetine) dose. Wat do I do?
Medications: It looks like you're also on seroquel and Klonopin as well as zopiclone -- all of which can increase fatigue. Plus on concerta? Your doctor may be trying to help your depression, and Prozac did not help as hoped. Perhaps the 2 of you need a serious talk about all your medications and their results -- not just Paxil (paroxetine) and prozac. If not seeing a psychiatrist, it's time for a consult. Best wishes. ...Read more
My doctor prescribed me methylcobalamin injections after every 2 weeks to counter some fatigue or energy side effects of prozac (fluoxetine). Is this any help?
Probably not: Methylcobalamin is a form of vitamin b12. It is useful for treating vitamin B12 deficiency, which can cause fatigue symptoms. However, there are many other causes of fatigue and low energy, including depression (is that why you're taking prozac (fluoxetine)?). Prozac (fluoxetine) itself may cause fatigue and low energy, although it usually doesn't. Methylcobalamin probably won't help that. ...Read more

What is better for anxiety, depression, fatigue, and insomnia? Prozac, remeron, (mirtazapine) or celexa? Or maybe other?
Depends on person: All the medications you mention can be highly effective. It can take a while to find the one that has the best benefit with the fewest side effects.
