Diaper rash care: He might need a cream from his pediatrician such as Nystatin but in the mean time , there are some things you can do. You need to put a good barrier cream on the diaper area every diaper change such as triple paste. Stop using baby wipes for now and just use a soft paper towel and water. Probably not: The presence of reducing substances and pus cells in small concentrations doesn't necessarily indicate infection, but it seems your doctor prescribed Taxin O just in case. EBF babies typically have soft stools that may also appear "seedy" & range from yellow to green in color. Iron supplements can make the stool darker.
