I'm on the 9th day of my provera (medroxyprogesterone) medication and have been bleeding heavily when will it stop? Why is this happening?
See your doctor: Any time someone has heavy bleeding due to medications, or not, they should be seen immediately by their doctor, who prescribed the medicine. In your case, it's provera (medroxyprogesterone). Let your physician discuss with you why it's happening. You want to make sure that your blood loss is not causing you to have anemia. Plus, they need to be aware, and document what is happening to you. ...Read more
What other medication can help by a low progesteron level10ml? I use metformine 500mg 2x and provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10 mg for 7 day. Help
Low progesteron: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) is not a true Progesterone and is instead a progestin which has some similarity to progesterone, but can cause serious problems. If you are low on progesterone, then you should be on bioidentical Progesterone and not provera (medroxyprogesterone). You may want to consult with a doctor familiar with bioidentical hormones, e.g. A doctor who does complementary or integrative medicine. ...Read more

Will taking estrogen lower the effectiveness of Depo-Provera since it is a pro estrogen medication ?
No: Depoprovera is a progestin used by itself, not with a estrogen, for contraception. I could find no interaction with estrogen on an interaction check. DO NOT: change anything with your IVF plans without consulting your IVF doctor. Doctors follow specific protocols, if you change the plan without consulting you may delay your IVF cycle or get it cancelled altogether. LoEstrin is not "faster," I don't know who told you that. IVF is teamwork between a couple and THEIR doctor, not an internet opinion. Please...call your doctor about this, best wishes! ...Read more
