I previously had 2 babies in 2010 & 2012 went on the Depo-Provera shot from Feb to Aug 2014. 3 shots injected. It's been 5 months no period or pregnancy. Why?
If I took provera (medroxyprogesterone) 10mg for 10 and it's just now showing up will the provera (medroxyprogesterone) affect my baby?
No: It sounds like you took the medication Provera (medroxyprogesterone) for 10 days and wonder if it will impact your baby. If you were not pregnant when you took Provera (medroxyprogesterone) it will not harm the baby. If you were early pregnancy and took Provera (medroxyprogesterone) it is unlikely that it will cause any harm at all. Check with your doctor if you have more concerns. ...Read more

Well: I would ask if u rsleeping well and about your daytime energy levels. If u think about it a lot then food can become a source of obsession. It can be kind of like addiction. Loe " Dopamine tone" can be part of the deal and buproprion may help along with something for sleep. When not feeling good then food can be a relief, then you worry, increasing stress, more food. I am taking provera (medroxyprogesterone) for hormonal imbalance...Can I still have a chance to have a baby? What will I do? Thanks!
It depends...: Provera (medroxyprogesterone) just makes the uterus bleed (like an artificial period). It doesn't typically induce ovulation (though it rarely can). So, if you don't have regular periods, you need to see a board certified reproductive endocrinologist who can test you to find out why, after which he/she can properly treat you to help you ovulate and conceive. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Wait and see: If your next shot is due in april, and you want to get pregnant, of course, don't get the next shot. Some women are fertile almost immediately 12 weeks from the last shot. Other women take 3-9 months before they are fertile. I have not heard of any way to make the Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) leave and make a woman fertile faster. You will have to wait and see. ...Read more
