Does breastfeeding protect the mother from certain viruses/illnesses that the baby gets? Like s stomach bug. Everyone in the family got extremely sick, but I didn't, yet I was the most exposed to it because I took care of baby.

I take flax oil, d3, cinnamon, multi vitamin, quecertin/c, e. Can I safely take something else to protect against illness?
Possibly: The supplements you mention are ok, but nothing really prevents illness like a good diet and exercise regimen. Also getting a good night's sleep every night to keep stress at a minimum also helps.
