Good luck to both of us! ...Read more

Electronic cigarette: Always difficult to tell what will be an irritant to an asthmatics. Also reduces negative side effects that nicotine has on the cardiovascular/cns/respiratory/ other organ systems. ...Read more

Would these cause a positive ETG test. Cetyl, Stearyl, Cetearyl alcohols. Panthenol, Phenoxyethenol, Butylene Glycol, Propanol, Propylene Glycol.?
Only ethanol makeEtG: Those compounds aren't metabolized to EtG. Food products (vanilla), hygiene products, mouthwash, or OTC medications (cough syrups) containing ethanol can cause EtG levels to exceed 100 ng/mL but not 500 ng/mL. If measurable ethanol is detected (greater than. 04 gm%) in the urine & EtG is >250 ng/mL, or if EtG > 500 ng/mL, then this is very strong evidence that beverage alcohol was consumed. ...Read more

Patch Tests: Any allergy test has to be correlated with clinical findings. In other words, do you have any allergy symptoms when you use your present lotion or other products with propylene glycol in them. If you have no reaction, then the positive patch test is not significant. If you do have symptoms then it is significant. I have positive testing to grass but have no symptoms, so I'm not really allergic ...Read more
Can 'vaping' (e-cigerettes) with nicotine in a propylene glycol solution cause elevated liver enzymes. Not sure if nicotine has an effect on liver? Ty
No: Nicotine has no adverse effect upon the liver unless you had a major overdose which only happens with the administration of large doses of nicotine. These doses cannot be met by smoking or vaping. Propylene glycol won't cause problems either. I would worry about chronic lung damage and nicotine addiction. If your liver enzymes are elevated, your doctor needs to find out the reason. ...Read more

Recently started vaping cbd oil, now have strong smelling urine, found out its an adverse reaction to propylene glycol in it, is it safe for me to keep using it when I am having this reaction? Like can I get sick or an infection if I keep using it?
Quit using it:
Weed and weed products are psychoactive drugs and will mess with your brain more than give you a smelly urine. Just because it may be legal does not mean it is safe.
For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form.
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. ...Read more
