Doctor insights on:
Prescribed 18mg of Strattera (atomoxetine) for focus. On Prozac (45mg) and Propranolol (10mg 3x/day). Interactions? Side effects? I've read some troubling reviews.
Probably ok: That dose of Straterra is pretty low. Many patients are on this medication along with an SSRI. Let your doctor know if you experience any strange side effects
Can one take propranolol and 5-htp and l-tyrosine together? Are there any interactions between them one should be aware of?
I just read about interactions between Nuvigil and Propranolol. I Take both. Provider is aware. Pharmacy is aware. Anything to watch out for?
Complex interaction: The combo can be used together but heart rate and pulse should be monitored. There is risk of excessive lowering both BP and pulse & rhythm disturbance. There can also be paradoxical increase in BP. Finally there can be constriction of blood vessels with loss of circulation to the fingers and toes.
No: There are no significant interactions between these two drugs. They are safe to take together.See 1 more doctor answer
I just took mucinex DM with my Zoloft, looked up drug interactions for my propranolol and found out I just set myself up for SS, what should I do?
Are there any drug interactions between these: Fluoxetine (45mg), Strattera (atomoxetine) (18mg), Propranolol (10mg twice a day), and Alprazolam (.25 as needed)?
Interactions?: No formal interactions between fluoxetine (SSRI), strattera, propranolol, & Xanax (alprazolam) (benzodiazepine). Always take your psychiatric medication exactly as prescribed and be sure all prescribers know of all other meds you are taking. If you have any questions about your regimen, ring your prescribing MDs office! :)
Seen psychiatrist added effoxor to my clonazepam inderal (propranolol) and remeron is this safe seen on drugs. Com major interactions?
The main thing to: Look out for is combined sedation, lightheadedness and serotonin syndrome, which I have only seen twice in 30 years of practice. So, get up slowly if going from a lying to standing condition and let your legs dangle over the side of the bed for 30 seconds before getting up slowly. Make sure you are not getting clumsy and don't drive or operate machinery until you are sure the meds are safe for you.See 1 more doctor answer
What are drug interactions for taking the following medication together: Seroquel, Ambien, Propranolol, lamictal, klonipin, and adderrall?
I've taken 50mg Zoloft (sertraline) and 20mg propranolol for a few months with no noticeable dizziness, just some fatigue. Still need monitoring for interaction?
Caution good but....: Both of these medications are very low doses, especially the propranolol. If you were going to have an interaction, it probably would have happened by now.
Any negative effects of buspar (buspirone)? Alcohol interactions? I'm on propranolol. Synthroid. And vitamin d daily.
All meds have some: No known interactions between buspar, (buspirone) Propranolol and synthroid. There are cautions for known sensitivity to that drug class, recent use of MAO inhibitors (a type of antidepressant) or use in the setting of kidney or liver problems. Generally well-tolerated, but here is a link to possible side effects: http://www. Mayoclinic. Com/health/drug-information/dr600277/dsection=side%2deffects.
Doc prescribed Carafate for my gastritis. I'm taking propranolol, synthroid, omeprazole, amitiza, (lubiprostone) fish oil, multi vitamin daily. Any interactions?
No: There are no interactions among all those meds - but that's an awful lot of medicine for an eighteen year old. Are they all necessary?See 1 more doctor answer
