What are the differences if any between propranolol ER 80 mg and regular propranolol 80 mg. Can you use one instead of the other. Any issues.
Hello, I have been on Propranolol ER 60mg for about a week, but my bp is very low right now (55-60) Im afraid that if i take my pill my bp will drop. ?
What can I expect switching from bystolic (nebivolol) 5 mg to propranolol ER 60 mg? How long before I get adjusted?

Depends on the patient and different responses to medications, the reason for the switch, the insurance coverage etc . ...Read more
Very nervous on propranolol ER 60 dr put me back on bystolic (nebivolol) 5 mg is it as affective on BP as propranolol I also take losartan 50.
Is there any withdrawal symptoms or do you have to wean off propranolol ER 80 mg capsule when you stop it. How you do it since it is capsule.

Consider cutting the dose in half for a week, then a fourth for another week, then every other day for 4-6 days before stopping. You can ask for a smaller capsule strength, or buy empty gelatin capsules and split the dose. ...Read more

Probably Fine: If you are basically healthy (no heart or lung problems) this should be fine, however I am a bit curious about the choice of treatment. Have you had a diagnostic evaluation of your anxiety? Beta blockers help with the physical symptoms of anxiety but may not help the cognitive (worried thoughts) symptoms. ...Read more
