What does 6/36 vision mean? Is this good or bad?

What does 6/36 vision mean? Is this good or bad?

It is bad. : This is the equivalent of 20/120 vision in the us. I have seen a denominator of 6 as well. This means that the perfectly sighted person could walk from 20 feet back to 120 feet or from six meters back to thirty six meters and see the same letters that the 6/36 patient could see only at 20 feet. Is that confusing? Sorry. But, the vision is bad. ...Read more

What if air bubble remain in front of lens after phacoemulsification and is blurring the vision? Will it be alright...?

Allow time: Occasionally air is left in an eye on purpose to help keep tissue in proper position during the healing. Less commonly it is not on purpose. In both instances, the body, with fluid exchange that is natural, will absorb the air and while it interferes with vision, when absorbed, you should achieve your potential best vision. ...Read more

Is it better to have surgery for epiretinal membrane in early stage instead of waiting for vision to worsen? I have minor blurring, no distortion now.

Yes, better wait: If you have a good vision and no distortion then please wait. Sometime the membrane can resolve by itself. There is a higher risk and complication with surgery.
