Lmp36 days hcg1540 progestrone8.5 LMP 38 hcg2190 proges waiting for result. Dint penetrate successfully though tried. Possible risk dueto. Tumor?
Hormone Levels/Preg: Don't quite understand the two measurements? If they are separate events, both indicate HCG levels in the normal range (which varies widely) in prganancy. Obs like to see Progesterone climb above 10, so we'll see about the 2nd value. If you are asking about the chances of a molar pregnancy, HCG levels should be much higher if that were the case. ...Read more

You may be: Over anlysing the situation as often occurs. The Progesterone is adequate, bhcg rise is normal. Until that cardiac flicker is seen there is a 15% miscarriage risk. After that drops to about 2%. There is a high rate of anxiety around pregnancy, especially when trying so hard. Try to relax and follow doctors advise. The ultrasound should be able to see something soon. Congradulations, gd luc. ...Read more

What causes a follicular phase E2 level in the ovulation phase, or even luteal phase? Proges is also low for the phase. How to treat please? Not on BC
The ovary: Simplistically: Estrogen (E2) is produced during the follicular phase from the ovary in response to another hormone called FSH (follicle stimulating hormone). At mid cycle, ovulation occurs (now in the luteal phase)and progesterone starts to rise, and typically peaks midluteal phase. If you don't get pregnant, the E2 and Prog. Levels fall, and you start your period. Then the whole cycle begins again! ...Read more

In perimenopause, given bio-identical proges/estro cream, been on for 3 wks, feel much better! Before unex. Nausea/diarrhea/heartburn. Now gone. Why?
Saw dr. For bio-identical hormones, had thyroid and labs drawn. Low in progesterone. Are there any herbal proges I can take until I get compound prep?
Biodentical hormones: Be wary of tests done to show a "need" for bio-identical hormone therapy. Many of these tests do not take into account appropriate variation between and within individuals. Reference ranges are set up to show that everyone has a problem in order to sell a product. Get a second opinion. ...Read more
5 weeks pregnant w/fresh bleed that lasted for a day-no clots/lght crmp. HCG lvls @ 1 wk was 278 and 4, 450 one wk later. Proges. Lvls are 48 - Miscarry/BO?
Miscarriage: There will be some early bleeding in about 1 out of 6 normal pregnancies. The Progesterone level is of little help. HCG levels should double every 48 hours (approximately). Unfortunately, your HCG levels are too far apart in time to determine if they have risen normally. The tests need to be 48 hours apart. ...Read more
Did ultrasound that says I have pcos but my doctor says that it's not true. Is it possible for a hospital to diagnose me wrong? Proges 0.5 & test31.
See below: An ultrasound of the ovaries can show findings that may be consistent with polycistic ovarian syndrome but the same findings may be seen in patients without this syndrome. Ultraound evaluation is crucial in patients suspected of having pcos but the ultrasound findings alone do not necessarily make the diagnosis. ...Read more
