Don't worry.: Pneumonia will give you a fever and your symptoms would have gotten worse, not better, without treatment. It is common to have congestion and cough when recovering from an upper respiratory infection, the majority of which are caused by viruses. not bacteria. URI: Sounds like an upper respiratory infection or acute bronchitis serious enough for antibiotics. Levaquin (levofloxacin) is good choice both for bacterial URI and/or sinusitis. Also get OTC expectorant/mucolytic for the productive cough. I recommend Robitussin PE or any combo of guafenesin and decongestant. ...Read more
