Topical anesthetic: In this procedure, the laser beam is aimed at the outflow portion of the eye for its internal fluids - opening up to allow better flow. It is done with topical anesthetic only as an outpatient procedure. Usually there is no pain. The surgeon will take great care to aim the beam only at the right spot. You : You should be seen again by your doctor if you are having yeast even while on diflucan (fluconazole). Usually Diflucan (fluconazole) should take care of a yeast infection within 1-2 days. You may need to have cultures taken or to be on another medication. If you do develop pain, fever, or vomiting then you would have to be seen immediately. ...Read more
