On cipro (ciprofloxacin) and flag. For diverticulitis. Can these meds cause problems urinating?

On cipro (ciprofloxacin) and flag. For diverticulitis. Can these meds cause problems urinating?

Prob not: I do not think these meds would cause trouble urinating but the diverticulitis may be contributing. Inflammation low in the colon near the area of the bladder could affect the bladder. Often the bowel also gets somewhat lethargic with diverticulitis. Severe infection can result in possible dehydration which can reduce urine flow. You should probably follow-up with your doctor. ...Read more

Please the bottom of my right testicle hurts, especially when applied to a certain area. No swelling or problem urinating. Just low pain like 3 or 4?

Patrick,: Trauma/injury would be the most common cause of testicular pain--typically you would know if that occurred. Epididymitis, inflammation of the tube that holds and carries semen and located at the back of the testicle, would seem most likely. Hernias, hydrocele, spermatocele or urinary infection also possible. Epidydymitis can be caused by (sexually transmitted?) infection. Needs testing/see Doc. ...Read more
