You have acid reflex not relieved by over the counter zantac, (ranitidine) which is not so uncommon. You can try Omeprazole a stronger acid suppresser available over the counter

The most natural way to help the symptoms is to try to avoid foods and drinks that could aggravate it: alcohol, caffeine, high fat foods, spicy foods, tomato juice.
