ARB option: Angiotensin receptor blockers have similar effect like ace inhibitors. If you are taking them you don't need ace inhibitors. Arbs usually end with "sartan" eg losartan, telisartan. However, if by "allergy" you mean that they slow down your kidneys then arbs aren't good for you either.
