I took 6 tablets of primolut N in a day because I want to stop my periods. Now I m scared what I did. Plzz help me is there is any side effect??
No immediate effects: Toxic effects from doing it just once are rare with this drug and others like it, but effects like endometriosis, irregular periods, and mood swings have been seen in people that take high doses consistently. On aygestin (norethindrone) 4 for 4ds 3x3 than 2.Have bipolar but take meds. Today I felt so overwhelmed w/emotion I was overcome w/tears! Is this bad side effect?
Minor: Micronor (norethindrone) is a Progesterone only contraceptive. Se are rare but could be similar to the pms time of your cycle, such as bloating, breast tenderness, mood swings, headache, acne, or weight gain. It is not quite as effective as the pills containing estrogen but is often used when estrogen needs to be avoided, such as breast-feeding, migraines, or clotting history. ...Read more
Possible bleeding: Most birth controll pills contain both estrogen and Progesterone which is how the pills help establish a balance and thus, facilitate the regulation of menstruation. Micronor (norethindrone) only contains progsterone, and is used for patients who may have contraindications to estrogen or for breastfeeding patients (estrogen drys up milk production). Therefore, expect some spotting to irregular bleeding. ...Read more

Painful periods: There are many treatments for heavy periods. Most of the birth control methods are great at helping. If you did not like Micronor then there are many other options. How do norethindrone, etonogestrel, and levonorgestrel compare in terms of health/safety risks, side effects, and androgenic activity?
Some answers: Androgenic activity wise from high to low: levonorgestrel, norethindrone, etonogestrel. Overall the health/safety risks are very similar. There is some small suggestion that 3rd generation progestins, like etonogestrel, have increased risk of thromboembolic disease like DVTs. Otherwise the androgenic effects are related to oily skin, acne, weight gain, glucose metabolism issues. ...Read more
Combipatch (estradiol and norethindrone) hormon replacment -- any suggestion or experience any side effects?
Tough in <400 char: Topical cream & transdermal patches for hormone (replacement) therapy appear to be safer than oral. However, it appears that some of the issues over the last decade re HRT may be due to progestin used, eg medroprogesterone acetate (mpa) or provera. Combipatch uses different one, Norethindrone acetate. I prefer vivelle dot (estradiol) & oral Prometrium (micronized progesterone) (bio-identical progesterone) as possibly safer. ...Read more

I am on norethindrone, for past 2 week having nasea and missed period, taken 5 pregnant tests- all negative. Is this a normal side effect?
Maybe, maybe not: Normally, women don't take 5 pregnancy tests in 2 weeks (once a week works better, because in early pregnancy, it takes a few more days after a negative test for the HCG level to get high enough to show up on a urine pregnancy test). The pills are hormone pills, and can cause nausea or menstrual changes even without pregnancy, too. One should call the prescribing doctor for the next step. ...Read more

My friend aged 45 years using alfrazolam 1mg tid, for last ten years. Is there any side effect or sickness to him.?
Probably: Alprozalam is a short acting anti-anxiety medication. It can also be used for insomnia in selected people. It's also a very popular street drug. What your friend's problem is only he can tell based on the information provided. I doubt it is insomnia as he uses it 3 times a day. If it is anxiety, it's definitely not the best treatment for it. I have some suspicion about potential abuse of it. ...Read more

How to increase length of male sex part? . I need a useful medicine without side effect please. Mine is only 10 cm. I'm 24 years old
Penis size matters?:
I am sorry to hear you are struggling with this question. Size really does seem to matter to us men. To our partners, however, how we use our penis is what matters.
You can seek out a good urologist who may give you some stretching techniques or even a process with a pump to try to increase your penis in either length or girth.
But, in general there is not any medication or safe surgical way. ...Read more
