Are there any noticeable differences between lactobacillus rhamnosus and lactobacillus rhamnosus gg?
Doubt you'll notice: The GG strain is a mutant that supposedly has remarkable effects as a probiotic. If you believe everything you read (mostly from obscure sources -- 80% cure of peanut allergy, major protection from colds and so forth), you'd be reading uncritically. I hope you get what you want from it. ...Read more

What probiotic is good for candida yeast gnc 50 ultra 50 probiotic complex or gnc multi strain probiotic conplex 10 billion cfus ? Plz suggest me thx.
Probably won't help: No probiotic is likely to be effective in treating a yeast infection. If that's what you have, you need treatment with a proper anti-yeast antibiotic. However, if you're talking about "systemic" candidasis, it's an urban myth; there is no such thing, and no treatment makes any difference. Discuss with a scientifically trained physician. Good luck! ...Read more

If you have a history of C. difficile, it may be useful to take probiotics, however. Otherwise, studies do not support their routine use. Having said that, there are not usually many side effects, if you do decide to try them. Good luck ...Read more
