YES HAVE PRESCRIBED: There are two approaches ; 1. To reduce cravings using either Campral or naltrxone or 2. The deterrent Antabuse that only reacts if you are exposed to alcohol. The deterrent works by blocking the breakdown of alcohol with a build up of one of the metabolites and this leads to nausea, vomiting, and elevated blood pressure.
