Maybe: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is a pretty broad spectrum antibiotic. See if the doc can give you a narrower abx. I would definitely take probiotics but that may not prevent cdiff. Possibly: Antibiotics commonly cause stomach upset. Sometimes taking them with a few crackers will help. Also make sure he is otherwise getting better. It may be that his UTI is getting worse.
