How long before my due date should I change my diet to something light to prevent pooping while in labor? I've read that broth, toast, ice pops help.

Eat well: I assume you mean diabetes by "sugar." prevention invloves educating yourself to what is right and wrong to eat. Decrease carbs and concentrated sweets.
