Obstruction: It sounds like you need to visit a Urologist. You may have an obstruction in your bladder or urethra, or even a kidney stone. It is important to have this problem taken care of in a timely fashion. Pressure on the bladder can also be caused by pregnancy and a host of other causes. I would advise taking a pregnancy test and visiting your OB/GYN to get a checkup and a referral to a Urologist. ...Read more

Possibly a UTI: A urinary tract infection (UTI) is not an STD. It is an infection of your urethra and urinary tract with bacteria. It can cause symptoms of pressure in your lower pelvis, burning on urinartion, and milky white discharge in the urine. the best option is to go see a doctor and get a urinalysis to evaluate for nitrites and leukocytes. Make sure you catch urine midstream ("clean catch") for the test. ...Read more

Irritable bladder: The symptoms you describe suggest irritation of the lower urinary tract (bladder, urethra). This maybe due to infection, inflammation or pressure from something pressing on the area. Your doctor will want to rule out infection, pregnancy and growths that could put pressure on the bladder. If these have been ruled out, interstitial cystitis is possible. Your doctor can help sort this out. ...Read more

Here are some. ..: The appearance of described symptoms suggests the passing stone has reached the very end of ureter and may be imminent to pass into the bladder. Clinically, this spot (called ureterovesical auction or UVJ) is known to be the most difficult area to pass a stone. Nonetheless, it's still worthwhile to wait and see as long as being manageable and having no superimposed infection. More? See Doc timely. ...Read more
