Pressure In Head When Leaning Forward
Having head pressure and off balance also vertigo any ideas when I move my head forward the pressure moves forward?
Needs evaluation: Symptoms of headache and gait imbalance could be related to increased intracranial pressure. Changes in pain with head movement could related to instability of the spine or cranial/spinal junction. If these symptoms are present, consultation as soon as possible for evaluation is essential. A neurologist and an emergency provider are examples of providers likely able to evaluate further. ...Read more
Orthostatic headache: Orthostatic decrease of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) pressure thus leads to compensatory dilatation of pain sensitive intracranial venous structures which in turn causes orthostatic headache and facial pain/pressure. I feel pressure in the back of my head when lying down after 1 minute. The pressure feels like it is pulling my head back to pillow. Head MRI clear.
Possibly GERD or OH: I think of 2 things which could cause nausea by placing the head down. One would be reflux of acid into the esophagus and the 2nd is benign paroxysmal positional vertigo. Also, depends on what you mean by "head down"-- do you mean as in reclining back in the chair or placing head forward on the lap or between legs? ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Middle left side back pain when leaning forward subsides, but is exacerbated when upright or leaning back, but gone while lying down. Pancreatic cance?
Musculoskeletal Pain: Back pain as you had described is likely not pancreatic cancer but rather related to the muscles and bones. I would speak with your primary care provider regarding your pain. The symptoms are typical for spondyloarthropathies, but a thorough evaluation is always warranted. ...Read more

Headache in forehead and temples that feels that pressure. Sore in areas when rub head. Sometimes worse when laying head on pillow. Tension headache?
Consider: Suggest stretching before and get up frequently for 15 seconds to stretch during prolonged sitting. Stretch neck, mid and lower back. Maintain good posture with a chair with good arch support or pillow. Have good lighting and make sure your reading glasses prescription is accurate so you aren't bent over like a "c" and strain your neck and back muscles. Experiencing transient head pain behind both ears upwards especially when moving head positions. What's happening?
A neck problem: Pain in the area that you described is from irritation of the attachment site of muscles that support the neck. In someone 49 years old this usually represents osteoarthritis of the joints of the neck with secondary muscle spasm. Our bodies use muscle spasm as a protective mechanism for injury, inflammation or infection. Unfortunately muscle spasm also causes pain at the involved site. ...Read more

Pulled muscle: The first thing to consider is a pulled muscle. I have IIH. Leaning forward when liquid suddenly came from right nostril. The back/right side of head and ear hurts. Can't breath through R. nostril.
Unsure: what caused the liquid you describe. Have you been told you have an encephalocele in addition to IIH? If not, it does not seem plausible for the liquid to be CSF. You may have a sinus infection, ear infection and or mastoiditis causing your pain. While it is probably unrelated to IIH, you should be checked as mastoid pain suggests a more serious infection. (back right side of head). ...Read more
Pain above one eye, which gets worse when I bend forward or stoop down. Pain in head and inner ear and neck all on right side. Cause?
When i tilt my head from side to side, or back and forth it feels like fluid moving around, get vertigo mainly when lying down, and rising back up.
Vestibular rehab: This happens when a crystal in the inner ear gets dislodged. It causes excess sensory stimulation of the vestibular nerve.
