I'm 45yo, healthy female who recently had three intense episodes of centralized chest pain after eating--dull, tight pressure lasted 30 mins. Cause?
I was diagnosed with multi organ serositis 2 months ago. Istill have pressure/pain in chest. The pressure in upper back/shoulder worsens after eating. Is it still serositis?

Thick mucous: Drink plenty of water if you can keep it down. Try Mucinex (guaifenesin) over the counter to thin the secretions. Try delsym for the cough. It is ok to swallow the mucous if you would prefer that to spitting it out. If it is colored see your doctor for an antibiotic. You could be getting a secondary infection. Good luck.
