Prenatal vitamins (2tabs)citranatal 90 dha packaging says"take on empty stomach".Which tablet is supposed to be taken on empty stomach? Vitamins or dha?
We recently decided to ttc. I started taking prenatal vitamins. Now I am having pains in my lower right stomach. Could the vitamins cause this?
It's possible: Prenatal vitamins (PNV), and/or other types of vitamins, can cause stomach discomfort. Some PNV can also cause constipation which could be the cause of your discomfort. You can continue taking the same PNV to see if the problem resolves as your body gets use to them or you can try a different form of PNV. Can prenatal vitamins give you the some of the same symptoms has pregnancy? Like breast tenderness fatigue gas and a little abdominal pain?
Unlikely: I've never heard of any vitamins causing breast tenderness. Vitamins are very unlikely to cause fatigue, gas or abdominal pain unless you're allergic to one or more of the ingredients- for example, some vitamins contain soy or gluten which are common allergens. If you're sure you aren't pregnant then try stopping them to see if you feel better, then restart. If it causes problems try another type. ...Read more

Another? /Metformin?: How long ago did you start the metformin? It can a while for some people to get used to and some have to go very slow and start at 500 mg once a day for a while, the extended release form can help and taking it with food can help.
