Premature Graying (Overview)

Premature graying is a hair color change, in which a person's hair stops being colored and becomes "gray". A gray hair does not have pigment (color) particles called melanin. Many people begin to have gray hair in their 30's, so one can call it "premature" graying if the graying starts before age 30.
