If no increase in movement with in the hr. following the chocolate then I suggest evaluation at the hosp. ...Read more

First time mom's: First time mom's often do not appreciate fetal movement until 20-22 weeks or so. The second time around they may detect it as early as 16 weeks. I'd just be patient as it sounds like your scan provided you with the confirmation that things were fine. ...Read more
I'm 26w pregnant today. My baby's movement patterns are different during the weekend than when i'm at work. She doesn't move as much. Concern?
Fetal movement: Probably not. At that gestation, movements are not as forceful ; you are not expected to feel all of them. When you are distracted by work, telephone calls, other children, etc, you are less likely to feel the majority of movements. If you note that you haven't felt the baby moving, take a few minutes, or an hour ; concentrate just on movement ; most likely you will feel it. If not call your dr. ...Read more

No: If this is your first pregnancy, i don't expect you to feel bonafide fetal movements until the 22nd or 23rd week of pregnancy. Women who have been pregnant before have "corporate knowledge" and can tell the difference between fetal movements and background movements like bowel activity at a younger gestational age. I wouldn't fret just yet. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
