When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
12 weeks pregnant, feeling dizzy, faint, having headaches, fatigue, and weak? I almost fainted and my vision was black and blurry?
Pregnant, headaches: Blurry vision in pregnancy most often due to hormonal changes causing unstable tear film/dry eye. Also check your blood pressure & urine to be sure no concern for high BP or pre-eclampsia. Start non-preserved artificial tears 4-6 times per day do not help (& lid hygiene: see [email protected]), Also see your OB & your eyeMD as soon as you can. ...Read more
Get vitals checked: The most common cause of dizziness at that stage of your pregnancy is anemia. Your total body fluid is increased, and do the red cells have to work harder to deliver oxygen. I'm 8 wks pregnant Im feeling dizzy after breakfast and having weird feeling in my chest no burning just tightness is it normal or something serious?
Chest tightness: At eight weeks of pregnancy, your "chest tightness" is most probably not related to your pregnancy. If your breathing is difficult, and continues, go to an urgent care center for evaluation. The "dizziness" may be related to the chest tightness or to irregular heartbeat, and needs evaluation if it continues. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Not pregnant, but feeling dizzy, headache, tired, and nauseous, shortness of breath and bloating for the pass 2 days. What can be the cause of this?
I am about 6 weeks pregnant&today woke up feeling dizzy.Throughout the day had some sharp cramps. And blood spotting.should I be concerned ?
"about 6 wks": Some spotting and cramping is possible at "about six to eight weeks" of pregnancy, due to a decrease in progesterone made in the ovaries. Soon, the placenta will take over this function, but if the cramping, etc., continues, see your OB provider who may provide some progesterone to remedy the temporary deficit. If this is a miscarriage, there is little which will stop it. ...Read more

34 weeks pregnant been feeling nausea, dizzy, headaches feeling its hard to breath. Had a MRI done friday and they said my heart was a bit fast 120?
No clear answer: I can't tie in an MRI to a incresased heart rate unless u might have been a bit anxious. The nausea/headaches etc are worrisome in pregnancy if tied to increasing blood preasure. Your OB needs to be aware of these symptoms & may want to screen you & check on the baby. Make the call. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Im 33 weeks pregnant and feeling breathless and dizzy.Feel relieved if i burped. My ob said its gerd. Need to know if these are normal.
Possibly: It's very easy to feel winded at 33 weeks of pregnancy. A doctor would want to make sure that you don't have any conditions like asthma that could be exacerbating. It's also normal to burp a lot more towards the end of pregnancy. Reflux is often described as a burning or pain like sensation just below the breastbone. Zantac (ranitidine) or Pepcid can help. ...Read more

Just had my period last Nov 12-17, feeling dizziness until now, my BP is117/73. Possible to be pregnant?
Possible YES and NO: Pregnancy can't be well tested fo until you MISS your period. Then, a pregnancy test may be purchased, applied and results indicative of being pregnant or not. Early Pregnancy Tests (EPT's) can detect up to 5-7 days before the period but I'm much more a fan of the old fashioned methods & even then, I tell patients to wait up to a week after they miss to be sure nerves didn't get the best of them. ...Read more
