16wks pregnant frequent heart Flutters all day..worse after I eat..tests were all normal..I'm scared to death of these what can I do to lessen them??

Tests were normal: You state that your tests are normal. Assuming you mean that you have had your heart evaluated (EKG, echocardiogram) and that these test are normal then it does not seem like there is a reason to be scared to death. If you had this problem by your doctor already then you are doing the right thing. If you doubt there assessment then you can always get a second opinion ...Read more

Hard to tell...: It can be hard to tell if a woman is pregnant because some of the symptoms seen in early pregnancy can also happen in non-pregnant women. A urine pregnancy test gives a reliable result if done correctly. One can test about 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have occurred), or 1 week after missing a period. An Ob-Gyn doctor can evaluate any persistent or worrisome symptoms. ...Read more

Women with previous heart disease, however, are at higher risk; there are also some rare but serious pregnancy-associated cardiac complications. ...Read more

Is it common for my heart to race in pregnancy?

Because your oxygen needs have stayed the same or possibly increased, you body is going to ask your heart to work harder to make up for the lower oxygen (really hemoglobin).
Another reason I have found is low magnesium. Consider 200-400mg of magnesium glycinate. ...Read more

CO likely slowly ↑: but Cardiac Output is not just heart rate but a product of stroke volume x heart rate. Stroke volume is primarily determined by body water volume + autonomic control of (a) venous tone, both determining blood return to heart, thus heart filling (average & momentary adjustments) & of (b) intensity of contraction (~20-30 times/second) of each & every heart beat.
